Room 4 are enjoying the sunshine - and taking the classroom outside.  We find it relaxing to work out in the sun and to get some fresh air to fuel our brains!

Congratulations to our Cheerleaders who competed at the Regional Competition at the end of Term 3 - they won 4th place (only 0.1 of a point behind the 3rd place getters!).  Also congratulations to Cameron Murray who placed 9th out of 40 competitors in his Flyers Mens Division.  Well done - fantastic results!

On Thursday 4 September, Miss Rasmussen and 25 students from years 2-6 headed in to Morrinsville for the Matamata-Piako GymSports Festival.  Our children did very well - our cheerleaders placing 2nd and Cameron Murray placing 7th in his division.  Our cheerleaders and Cameron have been invited to compete at the Regional GymSports Festival in Hamilton later this month.  Keep an eye out for those results!

Room 3 and Room 4 were lucky enough to be invited to a Science Roadshow at Te Aroha College on 5 August.  We saw some very cool experiments, they even made some explosions for us!  Thank you to our wonderful parents for transporting us into town!

Room 4's Homework Challenge for Week 1 was to 'create a boat that would float'.  On Friday, we floated them in the pool - thank you to our spectators (Room 1, Room 2, and Mrs Tanner) for braving the cold to watch our awesome creations!

We had an exciting visit from "Strings Attached" Puppet Shows - we saw Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.  It was very funny!
